The new Corporate Governance Code: a compass for unlisted family businesses

Leading a company is a journey without a compass, but the new governance principles for unlisted family businesses contained in the Corporate Governance Code are a valuable astrolabe. The Code was born as an institutional initiative aimed at filling a systemic gap in the corporate governance of medium- and large-sized, unlisted family businesses. The project is promoted by AIDAF (Italian Association of Family Businesses), in collaboration with Assonime, and with the scientific contribution of SDA Bocconi School of Management.
