Alessandro Manico, a partner at the Firm, specializes in M&A, private equity, and banking, as well as the legal aspects of wealth transfer. He regularly advises Italian and international clients, both industrial and institutional, on private equity, M&A, joint ventures, extraordinary transactions, and incentive plans (carried interest, stock options, participatory financial instruments, etc.). He has worked on some of the Firm's most significant transactions in the fashion, food, and IT sectors. He is also an expert in corporate law and commercial contracts. He has also gained significant experience in debt transactions (acquisition financing, mezzanines, real estate, and capex lines), representing banks, private equity firms, and beneficiary companies. He also handles generational wealth transfer projects, assisting clients with succession, civil, and corporate matters related to the transfer of shareholdings and the implementation of the relevant rules governing coexistence between different generations. He has over a decade of experience at the Firm, with previous experience at leading international law firms. In recent years, he has co-authored the monograph "The Transfer and Rental of Businesses," published by the Il Sole 24 Ore publishing group, as well as the monograph "The Supervisory Body in the 231 System," published by Pacini Giuridica. He also collaborated on the updates for the reissue of the "Practical Guide – Extraordinary Operations" and the manual on Extraordinary Operations, published by the 24 Ore Group. He is also the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications on corporate acquisitions, social rights, and corporate governance for magazines of the 24 Ore Group, and a column on generational transition. He teaches corporate law in numerous specialized master's programs at the 24Ore Business School (including "Business Lawyer", "Business Contracts", "Corporate Law", and "Law and Business"). He graduated in Law, with full marks and honors, from the University of Pisa and attended a second-level specialized master's program at the Il Sole 24 Ore Business School. He has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2013. He is fluent in Italian and English.
